  Drafting a manuscript requires careful planning, the process of which is driven by the researchdesign and the data collected and analysed. Often, inexperienced authors might assume thatall the journals have the same requirements and therefore they write up their article on thisflawed understanding. In order to enhance the success rate, authors need to read theaims/objectives of the journal to which they intend to submit their manuscripts. Once they getreviewer feedback and editorial decisions, it is critical to complete the revisions/resubmissionsstrategically. In this session, I will use examples of my own experience to illustrate how torealize the goals that authors have set for themselves.
